SUPER BOWL LIV—SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVATION

Mexico is the most passionate market for the NFL outside the US.

To promote the NFL’s Mexico Game and Courtyard Hotels’ Super Bowl LIV ticket giveaway,

we created a promotion for the ages. At its center:

a virtual time capsule that would make Mexican NFL passion, history.


Fans shared their favorite NFL memories on IG and FB. We also had a spectacular, ESPN-supported offline presence at the Mexico Game's Fan Fiesta. Here, fans could take time capsule worthy pics with NFL legends and submit them directly to the contest.

The best submissions made it into the time capsule, which was buried in a secret spot on one of Courtyard's Mexico City properties…to be opened in 100 years.
